Overview:

The Aankh’yets are one of the many nascent galactic civilizations – rich in culture, ripe with promise, not yet advanced enough to break the chains of gravity. These are plants, but mobile, able to unroot and move about in search of fertile soil. They have a deep caste system. They have a prophecy, where the seasons will cease changing, marking the dawn of a new age and an endless harvest. They have priests who act as custodians for sacred seeds. They cultivate these seeds carefully, keeping each generation safe until they reach the fruit-bearing age. And they ritually sacrifice any who see these young – even those of their own – believing that destiny can be stolen through the act of observation.
