Overview:

Like the Trasskah and the Tailoddans, the Lee-Guirs dwell in an inhospitable environment – the deep corrosive oceans of the planet Guir-Nali-Bo.  They tolerate these conditions by encysting themselves in a thick crust, waiting for the oceans to recede and the lands to once again support life.  The downside of this method is that oceans take a long time to recede… long enough in this case that they are expected to remain little more than biological trivia for interstellar epochs to come.
